Artificial Intelligence Program

Academic Centre – Secondary Level (Grades 10–12)

Program Overview

The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Program at Nasser Centre for Science and Technology (NCST) is a future-focused secondary-level academic program designed to prepare students for the rapidly evolving world of artificial intelligence, data science, and intelligent systems.
The program combines strong academic foundations, hands-on technical training, and international industry certifications, enabling students to graduate with both a Ministry of Education Secondary Certificate and globally recognized AI credentials. It is aligned with Bahrain’s National Qualifications Framework (NQF – Level 5) and supports national priorities under Bahrain Vision 2030.

Program Aim
The Artificial Intelligence Program aims to develop future-ready graduates who possess strong computational thinking, ethical awareness, and practical AI skills, enabling them to:

  • Progress confidently to university studies in AI, Computer Science, or Data Science
  • Enter emerging technology pathways with industry-recognized certifications
  • Contribute to national and regional digital transformation initiatives

    Program Objectives

  • By the end of the program, students will be able to:
  • Understand core principles of computing, programming, and data analysis
  • Apply artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to real-world problems
  • Design, train, and evaluate AI models responsibly and ethically
  • Use modern AI tools, frameworks, and cloud platforms
  • Communicate technical ideas effectively to technical and non-technical audiences
    Program Structure (3-Year Academic Journey)
  • 🔹 Grade 10 – Foundation Year
    Students build a strong academic and technical foundation through:
  • Programming fundamentals (Python)
  • Introduction to computing and data concepts
  • Mathematics and logic for AI
  • Digital literacy and problem-solving skills
  • Core Ministry of Education subjects
    Focus: Exploration, foundations, and skill discovery
    🔹 Grade 11 – Specialization Year
    Students begin focused AI specialization, including:

The program blends academic foundations, hands-on technical training, and international industry certifications, enabling students to graduate with a Ministry of Education Secondary Certificate alongside globally recognized cloud computing credentials. The curriculum is aligned with international standards and supports Bahrain’s digital economy goals under Vision 2030.

The Cloud Computing Program aims to develop graduates who are technically skilled, cloud-ready, and future-focused, enabling them to:

The program combines strong academic foundations, hands-on technical training, and international professional certifications, enabling students to graduate with a Ministry of Education Secondary Certificate alongside globally recognized cybersecurity credentials. The curriculum is aligned with international best practices and supports national and regional cybersecurity priorities under Bahrain Vision 2030.

The Cybersecurity Program aims to develop security-aware, technically competent, and ethically responsible graduates who are prepared to:
