Overview
At Nasser Centre for Science and Technology (NCST), digital services are an essential part of the student learning experience. NCST provides a secure, integrated digital environment that supports teaching, learning, communication, and academic administration.
All student digital services are centralized through the NCST Students’ Portal, allowing students to access academic systems, learning resources, and institutional services anytime, anywhere
Students’ Portal
The Students’ Portal is the main gateway to NCST digital services.
Students must log in using their NCST Microsoft account.

Core Digital Systems
Student Email (Microsoft Outlook)
Every student is provided with an official NCST email account, which is the primary channel for academic communication.
- Used for official announcements, assignments, and notifications
- Accessible via Microsoft Outlook (web & mobile apps)
- Students must change their password on first login
The student email account is required to access all NCST digital platforms
Student Information System (SIS)
The Student Information System (SIS) allows students to view and manage their academic records, including:
- Personal and contact information
- Academic reports and grades
- Transcripts
- Attendance records
- Parent information

Students are required to change their password upon first login
Learning Management System (LMS – Canvas)
NCST uses Moodle as its official Learning Management System.
Through the LMS, students can:
- Access course materials and resources
- Submit assignments and projects
- Take online assessments
- Track academic progress
- Communicate with teachers

NCST e-Library
The NCST e-Library provides students with access to:
- Digital books and references

- Learning resources supporting courses and projects
The e-Library supports independent learning and research skills development
Communication & Collaboration Platforms
NCST Community Platform (Microsoft Viva Engage)
NCST uses Microsoft Viva Engage (Yammer) as an official communication and engagement platform for students and staff.
Through this platform, students can:
- Participate in academic and student communities
- Engage in discussions and announcements
- Stay connected with NCST initiatives and events
Academic & Examination Services
Through the Students’ Portal, learners can access:
- Daily and monthly exam schedules
- Academic calendars
- Academic team contact details
- Teacher office hours and appointment booking
These services ensure transparency, organization, and academic readiness throughout the year
IT Support & Helpdesk
NCST provides dedicated technical support to assist students with digital services.

Digital Conduct & Responsible Use
All students are required to follow the NCST Communication Policy and Students’ Charter, which promote:
- Secure use of accounts and passwords
- Respectful and ethical online communication
- Safe and responsible digital behavior
- Legal use of digital content and resources
Misuse of digital platforms may result in disciplinary action in line with NCST policies
