Overview

At Nasser Centre for Science and Technology (NCST), we are committed to fostering excellence by selecting motivated, talented, and committed students who are ready to thrive in our academic and vocational programs.

Our admissions process follows a holistic evaluation approach, assessing not only academic readiness, but also social and emotional development, communication skills, and the student’s motivation to succeed. This ensures that every admitted student is well-prepared to benefit from NCST’s unique learning environment.

Admission Process

  1. Placement Tests & Interviews

All applicants are required to complete placement tests in:

  • Mathematics

  • Advanced & General Engineering (Electrical & Mechanical)
  • Sport & Business Management

This approach enables students to discover their strengths early, build confidence, and graduate with real skills, not just grades.

In addition, personal interviews are conducted in both Arabic and English to evaluate:

  • Academic readiness
  • Communication skills
  • Personal motivation
  • Compatibility with NCST’s academic culture

These assessments ensure students meet the minimum academic standards required for enrollment.

2. Admission Criteria

  • Applicants must be Bahraini citizens
  • Admission is highly competitive, with limited seats available per program
  • Passing placement tests is mandatory
  • Admission offers are subject to program capacity and NCST discretion
